During my recent stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Carlisle-South, I experienced a mix of light and shadow that ultimately shaped my perspective on this establishment. the spacious rooms, outfitted with refrigerators and microwaves, provided the kind of comfort one appreciates after a day filled with cultural exploration. Free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with HBO were excellent bonuses for unwinding in the evening, particularly after visiting nearby military history sites like the Army War College, which is a mere ten-minute drive away. Despite the overall affability of the amenities, I found aspects of the hotel’s upkeep alarming. The laundry facilities were convenient, yet diminished by the smoky odor that permeated common areas, suggesting a pressing need for renovation. For those traveling with family, the proximity to exciting venues like Hershey Park offers an excellent diversion, yet the current state of the property poses a challenge to recommend it wholeheartedly. While the hotel offers convenient features, I left with a sense of longing for a more polished experience that reflects the charm of its surroundings.
